Britain: set x2 identity tags belonging to Palestinian-Jewish soldier, circa. 1914-1918; weight: 1) 1.95g and 2) 1.65g. Tags bear virtually same information; issued to "Weinstein E | PAL10111 | JEW". The green tag was strung through 1 hole & hung around neck; through 2nd hole, shorter cord strung w/red red tag on it; red tag was retrieved by cutting its string, leaving green tag on body: if body found only with green tag, was understood that soldier's death already reported. Dated to WW1 but ID begins w/"PAL" ('Palestine') as in WW2, & not "RF" ('Royal Fusiliers') as the Palestinian units in WWI were known: soldier may be Pal. resident or in Zion Mule Corps.
