Eastbound mail: 10 OCT 1934 commercial cover from Holland Bank Union HAIFA to National Bank of Persia TEHERAN, franked 15m using Ba108 single per period surface rate & tied by local machine cancel (GD-87); backstamped 13 OCT 34 BAGHDAD transit, 17 X 34 TEHRAN-2 transit & same day TEHRAN-1 arrival; slit open at top, vertical fold. Per Collins et. al. "all mail going eastwards is scarce to very rare"; he recorded 13 covers from Palestine.
