1948 Interim mail / small towns: MAY 1948 undated express cover on "Mataf" stationary from KIRYAT (QIRYAT) AMAL (with return address) to NESHER franked 50 mils per period express service rate using interim/Minhelet Ha'am Hula survey single (Ba 4) tied by 1x near-full strike of special local interim postmark (with pointed arrows); backstamped 14 May 1948 YAGUR NESHER arrival using Mandate postmark (Dorf-6) - independence day/last day of Mandate; slit open at top, right-side tip of backflap missing, but very fine & rare postage rate in this period.
