Israeli maritime mail postal links: 15-4-1952 photo picture postcard of Odessa boardwalk with 5 word message in English from the Chief Engineer of the Israeli motor-ship freighter M/S Rimon in ODESSA to addressee at the Shoham Ltd company in HAIFA, franked 1.40R & tied by 2x strikes of the local postmark + 1x strike of the ship's circular cachet (unlisted in Nachtigall-Fixler) partially tied to one of the franks & the Chief Engineer's cachet. Israeli relations with the Soviet Union were still friendly at this time (until late 1953). The 'Rimon' was built by the 'Israel Shipyards' in 1951 for the Israeli ZIM shipping line.
