1948 JERUSALEM 1st convoy mail: commercial cover from Keren HaYesod on business stationary to HAIFA, franked 10m per letter rate using 1st locals with lake variety on 2nd day of issue Ba102a tied by local interim postmark & 10 MAY 1948 dater; transported on 1st convoy of 18 June (carrying mail dated 9-12 May) but not backstamped as not registered letter. Scarce as such. Opened gently at back. Estimated value $180+
