Interim franks as postage dues: interim period cover from GIVATAYIM to TEL AVIV, franked 10m per period inland letter rate but using 2x invalid JNF 5m Map labels (not overprinted with 'DOAR') - here cancelled (twice) against regulations by the local post office, but cover marked by boxed cachet for full 20m tax (double the deficiency); tax was paid on arrival using vertical pair of Diaspora series interim franks & tied by strike of TEL AVIV interim cancel - rare use of Minhelet Haam franks for postage dues. Opened gently at back, staple holes at top right. Estimated value $1600+.
