1950 Independence / rates & routes: 21-7-1950 "Lacol" austerity period airmail stationary cover from HAIFA to BUDAPEST franked 80pr at twice the FA-2a period rate to Europe for being overweight, using a mix of a pair of 20pr (Ba29) with left margin + 40pr 1949 UPU (Ba27) franks tied by 2 strikes of the Haifa head post office postmark; arrived 25 VII 1950; roughly opened at back but complete; correspondence included.
