1950 UPU / rates & routes: 26-7-1950 "Lacol" austerity period airmail stationary cover from HAIFA to LOS ANGELES franked 160pr double-rate at the FA-2a postage period rate for additional weight, using 4x multiple 40pr singles (Ba27) tied by 2 strikes of Haifa Head Post Office postmark; opened and resealed by Israeli censor with "approved" cachet; opened roughly at top, small piece of backflap missing but does not detract from cover.
