1950 1st airmail 250pr on mail: 10-12-1951 requisitioned Mandatory "Department of Posts & Telegraphs" registered airmail commercial cover from TEL AVIV (philatelic service) to DAYTON franked 265pr at the FA-2a postage period rate (80pr letter + 25pr registration + 4x 40pr R-letter additional 10g weight) using mix of half tabbed 250pr (Ba37) + full tabbed 15pr JNF (Ba52) tied by 2 full strikes of TEL AVIV-1 postmark on front + 6 on back, with Mandate era registry-label Sacher-R20a on front & Israeli "alef" censor cachet; backstamped DEC 16 1951 in transit DAYTON & next day arrival; opened & resealed at right, very fine.
