Postwar outbound civilian mail: 25 SP 1945 airmail cover from TEL AVIV to LVOV addressed in Latin and Cyrillic letters, franked 70m using Ba97/100 & tied by 2 strikes of local postmark; backstamped Soviet military censor & 6-12-45 arrival - but as addressee "left" (in war periods this is an ominous marking), marked by French language instructional handstamp "RETOUR | PARTI", and returned to sender. Slit open at top. Scarce airmail & destination. The cover probably documents the postwar demographic pattern of migration until end 1945 of Lvov's surviving Jews to Poland (the population exchange between Poland and the Soviet Ukraine - partly voluntary, partly coerced) where they entered displaced persons camps before reaching Israel & the US.
