British WWI military mail in Egypt: 19 FE 1917 stampless civilian stationary cover (not marked "OAS") from APO SZ 22 (GHQ Lines of Communication PORT SAID harbour) to HUDDERSFIELD tied by Proud-D1 State1 on last known date of use; marked by Base EEF censor & front-stamped 5 MAR arrival with machine cancel; locally re-routed; opened roughly at top, left tip of backflap missing.
