1948 2nd postage rate period taxed mail: 7-11-1948 cover from HAIFA to GEDERA, franked 10Pr using Doar Ivri Ba #3a stamp tied by large-dated Haifa postmark at the DO-1 postage period letter rate (5 weeks out of date) instead of current period 15pr rate, and taxed twice the deficiency & paid using vertical pair 1st postage dues series 5pr Ba #PD2 franks tied by 2 strikes of 19-11-1948 larged-dated Gedera postmark; opened at back, vertical fold.
