1948 JERUSALEM late Interim mixed franking mail: 23-7-1948 business stationary commercial cover to TEL AVIV franked 10m at period letter rate using mixture of 5m Doar Ivri Ba2 + 5m interim 1st local issue Ba101 stamps tied by 2 strikes of trilingual JERUSALEM-1 (Sorting Office) postmark (in use as of 4 July) - and local frank accepted so late in TEL AVIV for delivery: the use of interim franks in JERUSALEM was accepted until around 10 Oct., but outside of the city these need not have been accepted for making the delivery; opened gently at back.
