British WWI military mail in Egypt: 1 DE 1917 stampless green honour envelope (type 1161(?)/500) from BAPO Z (ALEXANDRIA) to LIVERPOOL, tied by full strike 2-line skeleton date-stamp Proud-D7, here spelled "BISE" instead of "BASE" - this observed by Firebrace on 22 DEC 17, here much earlier & undocumented; opened gently at back, small piece missing of backflap edge.
